Hey Boston friends.  There is a fun family event planned in the city on March 5th.

On Friday’s throughout the year, Aura Restaurant (Seaport Hotel, Boston) offers an early family dinner seating called “Fine Dining-Family Style”, with a three-course meal for parents and a dedicated play space for kids.  On March 5th though, it is even more fantastic with local shop ArtBeat donating Boston-themed crafts activities for kids to create, and local author Kim Foley MacKinnon will be celebrating her new book, Boston Baby: A Field Guide for Urban ParentsKim will be signing copies of her new book, which provides information Boston parents need, such as where to begin when you bring your baby home, surviving our winters with a toddler, and essential details on local museums, theatres, classes, and play spaces.

The event will be held from 5:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m. and the cost for the three-course prix fixe menu (including a copy of Kim’s book!) is $40 for adults.  Kids order a la carte and prices range from $3 to $8. Call for reservations! at 617-385-4300.

So if you are looking for adult converation, a date night with the honey without having to shell out the cash for a babysitter, great food and/or a place to entertain the kids, this is a great event for you!
